Service Records Utility
A trial is currently underway to upload the
service records of the individual soldiers that are being studied by
members of the CEFSG.
At present, there are four (4) folders on the
on-line data base for the following:
- Notes - from individuals that have
uploaded files that explain what has been uploaded and how to access
the records, etc.
- CEF Service Records - for those soldiers
that served at some time during the Great War in the Canadian
Expeditionary Force.
- BEF Service Records - for those soldiers
that attested to the CEF but later transferred to or served with the
British Expeditionary Force.
- Service Record Summaries - from CEFSG
members that have prepared summary documents for individual soldiers
from the service records.
All members are encouraged to upload files that they have in their possession.
The standard format for uploads is ADOBE PDF so that the files can be
viewed by all viewers with the free Adobe Reader. The files are
named in the following format:
LastName, FirstName 1234567
