This summary table provides a quick reference and links to the CEF
units that served in the Army
Troops, those being the units that were not involved in the
day-to-day front line fighting action of the CEF. This table is being updated on
a regular basis - check the update date and time above. Any
version prior to that date may have errors and/or omissions.
This table is an extension of, or addition to, the Army
Corps table that was the initial project of the Matrix team and
forms the backbone of the Matrix. As time progressed, it was
apparent that many researchers were interested in units that were not in
the Army Corps.
This version of the Summary Table has these benefits and perhaps this
future:
 | This component was initiated in May 2006 so it is a few months
behind the work on the Army Corps. Like all Matrix Pages is
likely to undergo refinement as data is entered and the format needs
to be modified.

| We have started all of the Army Troops off in this one page
summary, however as it expands (as did the Army Corps) we may find
it is necessary to split up the summary table into individual
components. |

table is intended to be used as a check on which units have been accounted for
and should not yet be taken as an "authoritative listing".
